Does anyone knows which routes and fleet operate out of each garage? The list on Wikipedia is hella outdated and I cannot plot buses for Fairfax Connector as easy like WMATA and Ride-On. I do not know which routes operate out of which though, all I know are the routes and fleets are spread across everywhere and I cannot exactly pinpoint where they are each. Last I checked, West Ox also had NGs #9770-9774 or so. They also have all the 2015 XD40s (7795-7799),2018-19 XD40s and XD35s up to #7827 I believe while Lorton (Why is this garage called Huntington anyway? It's nowhere near that neighborhood) has #7828-7840 so far, the ex-WMATA 3G hybrids, most of the D40LFRs, and some 2014/15 XD35s, plus most of the 2011-13 XD40s. The fleet hasn't really changed that much in the last 3-4 years. You know exact numbers? What about where all the routes at? I actually drove to West Ox not too long ago, so I still have a clear picture of what is based there. I don't recall the exact numbers of D40LFRs and XD40s at each depot, but I know that Reston don't have any XD40s nor 9600 series D40LFRs, West Ox has half of the 9600 series LFRs, and Lorton (aka Huntington) has the rest of the 9600 LFRs, and the lion's share of the 2011-2013 XD40s ( in particular, #9645-967x). Most of Reston Depot's fleet are 30/35 ft buses and a few 9700 series D40LFRs.Īs for routes.I'm not sure, I'm wondering that myself. From what I can gather, I know for a fact that the 371, 372, and 373 lines are all out of Lorton (Huntington), as is the 401 and 402, with occasional trips from West Ox depot. The RIBS lines (similar to TAGS) is out of Reston. TAGS itself was transferred to Lorton from Cinder Bed depot (WMATA) as was it's fleet. The 310 I think is mostly Lorton with some occasional trips from West Ox during rush hours, though I don't know for sure. Need to fan FFC on one of these weekends soon. The area wasn't nearly as developed at the time - Fairfax Connector service levels have grown with population and activity. With 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, and a walkout basement, this property provides ample space for you and your loved ones. That is so cool to think of National Airport as a legit Metrobus/Metrorail transfer station. They acted as off-hours rail replacement routes - so they didn't require a typical "feeder" interface with the rail system.
